# Contest sounds

The crowd. Ball strikes are the game's own, in /assets/sound/ (SOURCES.md there).

Picked by Brian on 2026-09-24 from the sound lab. Each file is cut and levelled from the Freesound 128 kbps preview of the recording named (ffmpeg: trimmed, faded, loudness-normalised; the murmur low-passed and cross-faded into a 30 second loop). Script: `.course-work/20260924-sound-lab-9e83501f48/process.sh` (scratch, not committed).
